Edward WinstonParticipantIt appears that the maven integration is broken with M1. When I try to update the configuration of a maven project I get the following error :
An internal error occurred during: "Updating Maven Configuration". Attempted to beginRule: MultiRule[P/ejb3FE,P/.org.eclipse.jdt.core.external.folders], does not match outer scope rule: org.maven.ide.eclipse.internal.project.SchedulingRule@aaa517
And the project configuration isn’t updated. It looks like this is a known problem with m2eclipse with versions prior to 9.9 on eclipse 3.5.
To be fair, this project is not a standard MyEclipse project in layout. It is a maven project with nested modules. I don’t think that should matter however. I don’t know if it is related, but my SVN integration has stopped working also.
I am sing Linux, openSuSE 11.1, running fvwm and I have tried it on both 32 bit and 64 bit with the same problem.
Thanks,
Edward
Edward WinstonParticipantOk, so I removed the MyEclipse maven integration and installed the m2eclipse available from pulse and I am now able to update the project configuration. I know my project layout isn’t standard, but that function worked on the project when using 7.5. If possible, please consider upgrading to a later version of the maven integration.
The ability to select a part to uninstall is great. Before trying to do something like this wouldn’t have been as easy.
I still have lost the ability to sync with svn, so it wasn’t related to the maven stuff. I’ll see if I can upgrade that separately as well.

Loyal WaterMemberewinston,
I have forwarded this issue to the dev team and they are looking into it. They will get back to you with a reply asap.
Edward WinstonParticipantThanks, I look forward to hearing from someone on this. As a side note, I was able to get the SVN stuff to work if I use a clean workspace, so I think with that there is a conflict with something in 7.5. It would be nice to be able to just remove the offending configuration and keep all other settings as opposed to having to blow away my .plugins directory.
Edward
Loyal WaterMemberEdward,
We will and try and fix this for the 8.0M2 release. Thank you for your patience.
