Using 3.8.2 on windows 2000 – When I access Window->Show View or Window -> Preferences, the MyEclipse items have generic names like ‘%viewTitle’ or ‘%databaseViewName”. Also, the tcp/ip monitoring view (which has the name %viewTitle! ) will not start, giving ‘Error occured trying to restore view’. Logfile shows a NoClassDefFound error. Note that this has been working, and the labels were not corrupted until recently. As far as I know I have installed nothing to Eclipse….

Thoughts appreciated!

well I restarted elipse with -clean and everything’s fixed, but how did it get like that in the first place?!
