    Jag,
Please click on your MyEclipse menu item, go to About MyEclipse, then click INstallation Summary and paste the result here for me.

Also explain to me how you are trying to “Find the html visual editor”. Are you opening HTML files or JSP files? If you right click on your HTML file and go to “Open With” is the “MyEclipse Visual HTML Designer” the selected/default editor or something else? Are you getting errors when you open an HTML file?

    2. I am trying to open an html file “Open with MyEclipse visual HTML Designer”, the editor does not even show the html code. But if open in plain “html editor”, i am able view and as well edit it. I know, i am doing something wrong. Just an FYI, I have loaded WDSC (Websphere Development Studio Client )and as well as WDSC lite on the same PC.

What do you see? An error or do you see the design of the page? If you look at the bottom of the editor, do you see tabs down there? Can you send me a screenshot? I’m having a hard time dragging information out of you 🙂

I think an exception is occuring, notice how the two tabs get open (in your screenshot that you sent me) but only the second source-only tab is focused? Try restarting using the -clean command line argument as outlined here:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-10280.html

Let me know if that fixes it. Be sure to close both editors before restarting. If that doesn’t work, check the end of your log file (<workspace dir>\.metadata\.log) and paste any errors you have in it here near the bottom (it’s an appending log file)

It did it. I do all the time, but for some reason, i did not use “-clean”. Great, I will test it out. Thanks for the help.
Moreover I was wondering the price $30 for the software, can it be installed on multiple PCs or no. Let me know. 😀

The subscription is tied to you as a developer. You can install MyEclipse on your desktop and laptop, but only as long as it’s you using it on either.
