    Hello,

I just downloaded version 5.0 of your software. I installed it on a fresh eclipse 3.2.1 install. I then created a web application and then a jsp using the jsf template. When it tries to open the new file in the MyEclipse Visual JSP Designer, It just shows a gray window. If I then close eclipse and restart, I get this exception:

Try restarting eclipse once with a “-clean” argument,

     eclipse.exe -clean

I tried the -clean arg. It did not help. However, I noticed that there is a different exception coming out in the console:

    [whitney@h-10-167-1-175 eclipse-3.2.1]$ ./eclipse -clean

By the way I am running on Fedora Core 6 x86_64, but I am using the 32bit 1.5.0_07 JDK and the 32 bit eclipse 3.2.1

Oh ok, your on 64 bit linux. Our Visual Web Designer doesn’t support 64bit linux yet. Sorry for the inconveinence.

Is it going to support it in the future? If so, any idea of when?

Eventually, yes, we will support 64bit Linux. But right now we don’t have a good estimate of when that will be. We are using some emerging technology that powers the Visual HTML/JSP Designer, so some of it doesn’t yet work on 64bit Linux, but it will get there.

I installed eclipse 3.2.. and myeclipse 5.0 GA (prof subscription).

From within myeclipse 5.0, I updated to eclipse 3.2.1

I now get the “Widget Disposed” error trying to edit any JSP’s with the visual designer.

    Any ideas?”

Did you get “Widget Disposed” before you updated to Eclipse 3.2.1? We don’t officially support Eclipse 3.2.1. We will in our next version, 5.0.3 that will be release within a few weeks. However, if it didn’t work before the Update, could you give me some more details, especially those listed in our posting guidelines? Thanks.
