I’m using the latest version of MyEclipse Blue, and I have an annoying warning I can’t get rid of:

That resource is a JAR project containing a JPA persistence model consisting of classes reverse engineered from a DB2 database with DALI.

This JAR project is referenced by an EAR project that also references an EJB project and a Web project.

The EAR project is uses Websphere Portal 7.0 as the runtime and it runs exploded, and the Web project contains portlets. The Web and EJB projects use classes form the JPA JAR project.

Now, everything works fine, except I can’t get rid of that warning, and have no idea what may cause it.

I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. It is indeed our fault that we try to validate existence of Deployment Descriptor in Utility projects. The fix will be available in the next release of ME 2013. As a workaround, please remove the following builder from “.project” file of the problematic project:

This problem is fixed in the SR1 release which is now available from the downloads page or via in-product update. The update sites should be available later this week.

Note that the fix will only work for new utility projects, please use the workaround above for existing projects.
