If I post a reply to a thread the “watch” selection gets switched off. Explains why all my watched topics have disappeared… 😉

Can you fix this?

I think there’s a misunderstanding. The checkbox says “Notify me when a reply is posted”. I don’t believe the intent is to watch an entire thread for any followup posts forever. Just the next reply, if read literally.

Hrm.. OK but it used to work the way I described… oh well.. no worries..

Dave,

Maybe you can edit your Profile and see if the “Always notify me of replies:” option says “Yes”. This ensures that the “Notify me when a reply is posted” checkbox is checked by default, otherwise the default state is unchecked.
