We have lots of ant xml files in our various projects. It took a long time to set up all the external tools to run the various targets that we wanted. Is there a way to export all the information for these external tool configuration like we can export our Eclipse/MyEclipse preferences? I’m using version 4.1.1 of MyEclipse.

Jennifer,
AFAIKT Eclipse doesn’t support export/importing launch configurations. We had another user ask about this, he wanted to keep his launch configs in his project so other devs on the team could use them, and we both looked around and it seems that Eclipse doesn’t have this functionality.

I found the location of the external tool configuration:
{workspace}\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.debug.core\.launches

This will greatly help us, especially when we get a new PC.
