    Hello,

at work we have to use a proxy to get to the public internet. The proxy configuration is fixed in IE by our IT department, and we are not able to change it. Therefore, in order to locally test my webapp, I have to use an alternative browser so that I can switch off the proxy config.

Now comes the problem: the internal browser that comes with MyEclipse seems to be based on IE and uses IEs proxy settings. I have found no way to change that. That makes it unusable for me.

    any remedy?
    thanks,
    Christian

    Chris,
At this time the internal web browser is hard-set by the SWT browser widget so there isn’t much we can do there. The workaround is just to load your browser externally and use that.

As far as setting a home page other than our own home page, I will fiel the enhancement.
