Hi,
In the introduction of MyEclipse features (http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-52.html ), I saw two panels, one is called “External Preview”, the other is “Web Browser”. I checked from FAQ, it mentioned that “External Preview” is actually a View provided by the base Eclipse installation, and user can get it by going to: Window > Show View > Other… > Update Manager
I’m using Eclipse 3.1.1 and MyEclipse 4.1.1. I couldn’t find “Update Manager” according to above instruction. While I found two web browsers in “Show View”, one is called “Internal Web Browser” which included in the “Basic” of Eclipse; the other is called “Web Browser”, which is included in “MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench”. My questions are:
1) In which version that Eclipse has “External Preview” view in Update Manager, and does Eclipse 3.1.1 rename the “External Preview” to “Internal Web Browser”?
2) What’s the difference between “Internal Web Browser” of Eclipse and “Web Browser” of “MyEclipse”? I tried both of them to view the webpage I’m working on, and they both worked fine.
Thanks,
Maggie
