I created a JAXWS web service and it operates as expected using the web service browser and testing using a java client. The web service is to be used by another dept. where reports are being created using the standalone BIRT designer tool (can’t change that).

The problem I’m having is that a BIRT dataset that uses the web service as a data source shows the method for the service but does not show the input/output parameters.

I realize that this may be out of topic here but if anyone can give me some pointer’s on how to get around this issue I’d really appreciate it. This is a show stopper for me.
