Both Chrome and Safara browsers are installed.

The MobiONE simulator keeps firing an error screen telling us to download and install Chrome.

We already have it installed and working.

In fact, this post was added via the Chrome browser.

So – what is the problem with MobiONE not recognizing it?

My first thought is MobiOne is unable to locate the chrome.exe program on you system.

    Try this:
in Mobione open Window menu>Settings>Mobile Web Simulator
and confirm that the Chrome program location is set to a valid chrome.exe

Over the years Google has used a couple of different default locations for chrome. The screenshot below shows my chrome installation. If it moved then MobiOne may not be able to locate the executable. Also you should confirm that the chrome.exe that MobiOne is configured with can actually be launched. You can do that from a File Explore and dbl-click the chrome.exe.

Let us know what you learn. See attachment chrome-setting.png

    Thank you very much.

Kicking the tires got things working.

Cleared the browser line and drilled down and designated it again.

Did a reset of the simulator settings also.

Really appreciate your thoughts on fixing this issue.

    Thanks again.

Have a nice Thanksgiving if you are in the U.S.

If not, just enjoy the day.
