support-joyMembersudmail4u,
You might be missing JSF libraries in your project build path. Please refer – https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2299042
Right click on your project > MyEclipse > Add JSF Capabilities and follow the wizard. Next retry. Check your project build path for jsf-api.jar and look for javax.faces.webapp.UIComponentTag class.
Let me know how this works for you.
sudmail4uMemberHello Joy,
True, The calss path is looking for jar related to JSF. But i have created an EAR project and created a web project and a EJB project.
and for the web project I added struts capabilities only and trying to deploy the EAR onto the WebLogic Server and It’s failing. I didn’t add any JSF capabilities to my web project. But if i deploy the WebProject and EJB project seperately it works well and goes good with the deployment, but it fail If i try to deploy the EAR Project onto the Server.
support-swapnaModeratorsudmail4u ,
Can you check if you can deploy the EAR project outside of MyEclipse to Weblogic server without any issues? If the deployment works fine then please give us detail steps on the EAR creation for us to help investigate further.
