Hi

I need to develop a webservice using tomcat 5.0.28 and myeclipse4.0
Does myeclipse support webservice development like in WSAD? If not, let me know by when can it support webservice development? Currently what should I have to develop and deploy a webservice on tomcat using myeclipse IDE?

Sri,
Official webservice support is planned for MyEclipse 5.0, however you can use XDoclet to get webservices support now in MyEclipse. We have a tutorial for doing this under websphere and would encourage you to take a look: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-49.html

You will need to adapt the methods to Axis/Tomcat as we haven’t used this combination yet and are not farmiliar with it.
