Hello, I am evaluating if our company could move from RAD to MyEclipse Blue. The product seems very nice indeed, provided that we can get everything working.

I’m trying to connect to Remote WebSphere Server instances running on vmware images, I have one image with WebSphere 6.0 running on it, and another image with WebSphere 7.0, but I cannot connect to either one with the Myeclipse Websphere Blue – remote connector. The connector is disconnected, and if I try to deploy an application to it, the status goes to Redeploy. Once when I tried to deploy to the Remote WebSphere 7.0 i got an announcement that MyEclipse is receiving the SSL certificate from WebSphere and needs to restart, and I thought now it will work, but nothing changed.

I have verified that the connection and parameters are ok, by successfully connecting to both instances from my desktop with the wsadmin command line tool from my local WebSphere installation profile, with the same parameters I give to MyEclipse connector. The vmware-image based WebSphere instances should work from my computer just as any other remote server instance would.

    Here are my installation details:

    Henrik,
I shall escalate this to the dev team member. They will get back to you on this.

    Henrik,

If you clear your error log before deployment and then go ahead with the deployment to your remote connector, do you see any errors logged? If you keep the Console open is there any relevant output?
