I see that MyEclipse is planning a “Blue” edtiion to support development targeting WAS 6/6.1. Assuming this is positioned as an alternative to the RAD tools platform from Rational, are there plans to support Portlet development for Websphere Portal Server as well? Currently this is supported via Portal Toolkit within the RAD 6/7 platform.

Thanks in advance for any input you could provide.

mcs, our plans for the initial launch is standard JSR 168 porlet support, and then extend from there. I’m sure if the demand is there for the WS Portal Server we will move towards that support with subsequent releases of Blue as it matures.
