    Hi,

There was a time (actually not very long ago) when the servers section of the MyEclipse prefs listed a bunch of servers. You enabled the one you wanted and set the path. I just installed 6.5.1GA_ArchivedDiscoverySite.zip on to Eclipse 3.3.2 Classic and all I see under Servers is “Integrated Sandbox” and when I open that, all I see is “MyEclipse Derby”. Has something changed in the way servers get configured or is my install incomplete?

An added note: this was not an upgrade but it is a fresh download of both Eclipse and MyEclipse because I had deleted the downloads several months ago and just now managed to corrupt the whole thing and so I figured a re-install would be the easiest fix. Apparently not. 🙂

    Thanks,
    Rob Tanner

    Thanks,

    Rob,
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Sounds like an installation issue and the re-install should have helped. Did you try reinstalling to a brand new location? Also, have you tries using a new workspace (File > Switch Workspace > temp)?

I tried to different installs last night, one using the archived zip file which means it all happens within Eclipse and the other installing using Pulse. In either case, I don’t know if there even is a MyEclipse folder to go look in (or at least I have no idea where it is.

I tried creating a new workspace as you suggest, and the servers all came back. Is this something I can easily fix in my current workspace or do I need to create a brand new (not temp) workspace and import my projects into that new space.

You can try using the -clean to try and fix your original workspace but if it doesn’t help, you will have to export your projects to a new workspace and continue working:-
