I am going to be developing a Web Service and wanted to see what frameworks are best supported by MyEclipse since that is my most comfortable working environment.

I suppose Axis2 but what about Metro?

This web service will need WS-Security and will live in a WebLogic server, if that changes things…

Does MyEclipse have a nice built in WSDL editor?

MyEclipse supports the development of JAX-WS based web services through the use of the Metro reference implementation. We don’t directly support Axis 2 development, but you can develop Axis 2 web services using MyEclipse if you enable our “WTP – Extras” capability, later this year in MyEclipse 10 we aim to provide both technologies through a unified interface.

We do have a WSDL editor in MyEclipse with a source and graphical view too.

We do not have any tooling that assists with the use of WS-Security, but there is nothing stopping you from creating such a web service with MyEclipse.

    Hope this helps.
