    hi, oh knowledgeable support staff!

    quite confusing;
    when using the myeclipse struts-editor on my struts-config.xml file
    I see on the right side a vertical line going through my code where I’m pretty sure, there should be some xml overview .
    same goes for all *.xml files

    also when asked through the eclipse about, myeclipse thinks it’s 2.7 RC1, although eclipse can’t find any updates.

    thanks,
    axel

    Hey Axel,
    You have the right version (2.6.200), someone just forgot to change the label to read “RC2″. About the XML files, are you seeing the print margin line? Do you have a screenshot? Is the line inside of the editor window? If so you can turn this off from going to Windows->Preferences->MyEclipse->Editors->XML Editor->Style->”Show Print Margin”. The default color for this is very heavy and ends up looking pretty bad.

    You are right, there should be an XML Overview, and a custom one for struts-config.xml, do you not see these when you open an XML file? Can you turn on the Outline view: Window->Show View->Outline?

    Did this help?

    oh my good,
    yes, it was the printmargin!
    And the outlines I also found; sorry, it wasn’t switched on.
    😳

    thx for your help!
