Could you please state your Eclipse, MyEclipse, Java versions and OS?
Are you using the new JSP designger or the old JSP editor? (New JSP designer was released with ME 4.0M3)
Are the chines characters being displayed correctly on the source page, but only not displaying on the Preview page?
If you make some changes, save and reopen your file, do the chinese characters remain as expected?Best,

What verions of IE do you have installed? Do you have any problems viewing Chinese characters in it normally out side MyEclipse?

Are you using a @pageEncoding attribute in your JSP file? If so, what encoding do you specify?Could you paste (or attach) a minimal version of the JSP file which exhibits this problem here? That will help us run down the issue quickly.
