I’ve just installed myeclipse ME-4.0M2 and eclipse 3.1. I want to create an ant build file. I create a build.xml in the project root, then right click, go to open with… and there is no Ant Editor there. The options are “MyEclipse Web Browser”, “My Eclipse XML editor”, “Text Editor”, “System Editor”, and “Default Editor”. What is going on?

I’ve noticed this too. The Ant editor doesn’t show up for empty files in 3.1 as it tries to recognize the content as an actual Ant build file. Try copying in a real build file from somewhere else, closing the editor, then doing an “Open With…>” and it should then be in the list.
