When I go to the main download page:

    http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-4.html

    It says: MyEclipse 2013 SR2

The link takes me to this page:

    http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME

Which only shows the SR1 versions for download.

Though you have a set of releases for R2 here:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-503.html#whats_new

To make matters worse, I go to the Genuitec site and search for “Kepler” and I see the following page:

    https://www.genuitec.com/?s=kepler

    Which has the article:

SDC 2013 SR2: Now with Eclipse RCP Delivery and Eclipse 4.3 Kepler
About This Video: See Genuitec’s Secure Delivery Center’s awesome new features including seamless Eclipse rich-client (RCP) delivery using visual configuration, Eclipse 4.3 Kepler support, and advanced workspace automation all over complex and potentially secure networks. http://genuitec.com/sdc/download.php Get started with SDC … Continue reading →

But clicking the link brings you to a 404 for the page:

    https://www.genuitec.com/sdc-2013-sr2-now-with-eclipse-rcp-delivery-and-eclipse-4-3-kepler/

Looks like the search needs an update to its index.

    Where is SR2?

How come one article says Kepler is in 2013 R2, but in the discussion below you are now saying late-October?

    http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-29956-highlight-kepler.html

One more final item that I would assume you have somewhere, but how about a comparison chart between Kepler and ME 2013. I would guess that as the Eclipse releases have grown and added features, they have replaced some functionality in ME. What features of Kepler are now duplicates or similar to ME 2013 R2?

    Thanks,

    Brian

P.S. I have been a personal ME owner since before 1.0 released.

    Brian,

    1) You caught us mid-edit, we pushed SR2 out yesterday and some parts of the sites were updated while some were in progress. It happened a bit slower than it should have, but it’s all there right now. Sorry about the confusion on this front.

    2) As far as Kepler is concerned – the articles you found on genuitec.com refer to our sister product – Secure Delivery Center; it has been recently updated to allow distribution of packages that are Kepler based, MyEclipse will be updated to use this functionality eventually (we are working on the Kepler integration right now). Timeline for a Kepler deliverable still remains mid to late October. Additionally, we will correct that dead link, thanks for pointing that out.

    3) Our documentation team is working on a ME vs Eclipse / JEE distribution document and video as we speak, we’ll make those resources publicly available when ready.

From one Brian to another, thanks for being a loyal MyEclipse customer; it appears that you’ve been with us longer than I have and I’ve been here a long time 🙂 If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask.

    Robert,

You don’t need to remind me about your “longtimedness” 😉

Sorry for the delayed response – I’m working on the archived update site today and will let you know when it’s ready.
