I have an eclipse.ico in my C:\eclipse directory which is actually a MyEclipse icon file. I want to also have an Eclipse icon file to use, but I can’t seem to find one in the Eclipse distribution. However it must exist, as I used to see it before I installed MyEclipse. Can someone clue me in as to where I can find this icon file ? Thanks in advance…

    James,
I just searched my entire Eclipse dir (I use the manual installs for testing/support reasons) and there was no eclipse.ico file, the default Eclipse icon seems to embedded in the eclipse.exe file. If you just want your Eclipse shortcut to look like Eclipse, you can just change its Icon to the default eclipse.exe icon.

I changed the icon to eclipse.exe (I didn’t know you could choose an executable as a shortcut’s icon) and now all is well. Thanks for the help.
