    After adding capability of Struts and Hibnerate,
    there are commons-logging.jar and commons-logging-1.0.4.jar.

    Is one more updated and the old one can be deleted?

    What happens if you leave both in your project? If you want to delete one, erase the -1.0.4 one, Spring uses the non-versioned one and it is very picky about the version of logging that is used.
