    Hi,

Would we get a trial version/developer license of WAS when we buy MyEclipse. When we buy RAD we get a test environment of WAS alongside teh offering. We wanted to understnad if we have to buy a separate license of WAS if we choose MYEclipse Blue Edition.

    Thanks,
    Manglu

    Manglu,
Im afraid you will have to purchase a separate license of WAS with MyEclipse. We are trying to work out a way to make it viable to include the WAS license.

Manglu, a quick followup, we do have something that we can’t yet speak to publicly but it should be well received by our Blue users with regards to Websphere testing runtime. Stay tuned!

I would be *very* interesteed in some sort of equivalent to the WAS Test Environment that comes bundled with RAD for MyEclipseBlue. Hope to hear news soon!

With 7.0 M1 out is there any update on this question. An integrated test environment would be a great addition.

Any update on this? It’s been almost 3 months since support-greg’s post. Greg, can you post a follow-up, even if it’s just to say this has been dropped or is still being pursued with IBM?

    thanks

    Guys,

For anyone interested in getting a quote for MyEclipse Blue that includes WebSphere, please contact our Subscriptions department (subscriptions@genuitec.com) with company and request information so they can get you an accurate quote.

Doing a pre-bundled release is still on our roadmap, but father down the road.

    I hope that helps.
