Wayne Parrot (ceo of genuitec) ‘s blog posting about upcoming ME 4.1 features is really inspiring.. I was wondering if webtools would eat your lunch but you keep raising the bar.. the ajax toolkit looks particularly exciting.

The feature set sounds great, but of course the big question is; does any of this work outside of Windows?

Yes, it will definitely include Linux support and it looks very probable that the Mac platform will be supported as well. We will post more information on this feature set ASAP.
