Hello,

Attachement notselected.jpg show one task in Mylyn’s task list view being activated (OPT-6634). It’s given a pink color.

But if I click on that task, the blue highlight hides the fact the task is active. Show in attachment selected.jpg

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the screenshots.

Can you please give us some more details to help us investigate further?

1. Eclipse version details from Help > About Eclipse section. Also share with us your OS and version details.
2. Go to Window > Preferences > DevStyle > Color Themes and share with us the selections for ‘Workbench theme’ and ‘Editor theme’.
3. Are you working with the latest version of Darkest Dark i.e 2017 CI 11? If no, then please update to CI 11 from Help > Check for Updates.

1 – Version is From QNX, it’s 7.0.2v201710042038. It’s based on Neon 4.6.3.v20170301-0400. OS is Xubuntu 17 setup with a dark theme.
2 – See attached image
3 – 1.11.0.201802122023. Seems to be the latest.

The Mylyn pluging which is the one handling the TaskList, is 3.21.0.v20160909

@mcharest, thanks for the details. It is possible that those colors are comming from the linux theme. Can you try a different GTK theme?

I think it’s an Eclipse issue in this perticular view. It seems the highlight cursor is always hiding what ever is on the “left” of the main text.

Disabling Darkest Theme or playing with Linux Theme has no effect.
