Hi – The documentation states the following but the panel does not exist:

To set the level of WS-I compliance for the workspace:
From the Window menu, select Preferences.
Select MyEcipse > J2EE Project from the component tree on the left-hand side of the panel.
Under Profile Compliance and Validation, select the level of compliance you want from the drop-down lists.
    Click Apply, then click OK.

I am using 5.0.1 on 3.2 on Win XP SP2.

Can you tell me which document you are looking at? I checked our web service documents and didn’t see a mention of WS-I.

You’ll have to look a little bit better. Enter ‘basic profile’ as the search query and it appears as the second hit (‘Setting the level of WS-I compliance’). The OP was right, the panel does not appear.

I am having the same problem. I enter ‘basic profile’ and there are no search results. Actually I enter ‘basic’ and there are no results. Has anyone else found this option yet?

This page was hidden by accident. If you really need this setting, you can enable WTP-Extras (Preferences > General > Capabilities – Click Advanced and it’s at the end of MyEclipse Standard Tools list).
After enabling extras (note, you have to reopen the preference dialog) you can find this setting under Web Services > Profile Compliance. Please note that only the first 2 combo boxes apply to MyEclipse. You can turn WTP-Extras off after setting this preference.

As a general rule, we do not support features that are enabled by turning on WTP-Extras, these are WTP UI elements & features that usually conflict with MyEclipse.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, we will be placing these preferneces on a more accessible page in 5.0.3.

    Best,
    Brian.
