    Hi,

    * I have migrated the projects from RAD 7 to MyEclipse bling 10.6 which includes java, web project and EJBs. It is using websphere 6.1.

    * Enabled websphere 6.1 connector and executed ‘Enhance RAD project to work with myEclipse’
    * Then I followed the steps on http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/firstejb/ to configure xDoclet.

    * However while running the xDoclet for EJB, I get the error ‘An internal error occurred during: “XDoclet Generation”. java.lang.NullPointerException’

My objective is to move the project from RAD to myEclipse and then configure the project to deploy on Websphere 7.

I am still on EJB 2.1, JSF 1.1, hibernate 3.6

Please advise. If you could point me to any online documentation for this will be very helpful.

    Thanks
    Amit

    Amit,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please copy paste the entire stack trace of the issue to help us investigate further ?

Clear the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log. Now replicate the issue with xDoclet and copy paste the contents of the .log file here for us.

    Hello Swapna,

Thank you for looking into it.
I have resolved this issue. I had to remove all the compile time errors by attaching the jars in build path. I could successfully run the xdoclet after removing the compile time errors.

    Thanks
    Amit
