I’m trying to get a basic example working using the web service plugin. I create a web service, create a deployment for tomcat 5 and deploy. When trying to see the page in a browser, I’m getting the following error:

SEVERE: Allocate exception for servlet XFireServlet

Not sure both errors are related though. I’m pretty sure it is something related to my local config because I can run it fine on another server and see the main page with the available wsdl.

I’d appreciate if you could help me,

    Thanks

Yea something looks very squirrely with your local TOmcat install. Try re-downloading the latest Tomcat 5.5 in ZIP format from the Tomcat site, then unzip it somewhere and update the Tomcat connector to point to the new Home directory, then redeploy your project to it and see if it suddenly works.
