In the XML editor, if I use the Text Editing Keyboard Shortcuts to move or copy one or more lines up or down (Alt+Up, Alt+Down, Ctrl+Alt+Down) the editor locks up. If I click on some other panel or another application the editor comes back to life with the move/copy done. The same functionality seems okay in other editor types (Java, JS). It would be great to see this fixed some time.

I was able to replicate this behaviour. I have added a PR on this issue and the developers will be notified. Thanks for your report.
I have just noticed that this is the same bug as highlighted in the sticky thread http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-3394.html – i.e. the problem has been there since 3.8GA (reported August 19).

Its a symptom of a bigger problem we have been looking into, albeit not a show stopper, just annoying.
It is not only the XML editor, for me for any file type, the bug is there. Cannot use the shortcut for editing.
