A particular user is seeing very slow echoing of the keys he types when editing XML documents in the MyEclipse XML Editor. He can edit normally when using the text editor. The same document seems to work fine on other machines. Is there some configuration we can check to see what might be causing this for him? He has his heap monitor open and he isn’t maxing out on memory.

Is the size of the XML file very large (close to 1MB or larger) ? We have a big performance patch going into MyEclipse 7.5 that will fix all the editors for large files.
