XMLBuddy has an option to show the value of a node’s first attribute in the Outline View.
For me, this is a must have feature, and I believe it should be easy to implement.

Daniel,
Do you mean if you have a tag like:
<tag id=”3″ name=”bill” value=”whaever” />

then in the outline you would have:
+ tag id=3

or something to that effect? This sounds like a pretty good idea, I’ll send it along.

Exactly. In fact, in your example, I would strip the “id=” part, like:

+ tag 3
