As most new XML development makes use of XML Schemas in lieu of DTD’s, it would be nice to see support for XSD editing and validation. Currently our dev team has to use an external tool (XMLSpy) to edit schemas and validate XML and it is a royal pain.

The XSD design/editing/validation is actually quite good in MyEclipse, offering a visual XMLSpy-esque design mode. Have you given this a try?
